Linde plants supply H2 with a purity of up to 99.999 vol. % and a capacity of from 300 Nm³/h to 200,000 Nm³/h.
Hydrogen, in its capacity as a reactive gas, finds application in many hydrogenation processes, as feed material for fertilizer, fuel and peroxide production or as an energy carrier.
Linde hydrogen manufacture
Linde has decades of experience in the field of hydrogen plants and has built more than 200 plants for hydrogen manufacture with capacities of from 1,000 to over 100,000 Nm³/h. The great majority of these plants were implemented as turnkey facilities for a fixed price.
Linde AG's know-how and options in the area of hydrogen production comprise:
the entire process for the manufacture, recovery, purification, storage, liquefaction and transportation of H2.
the entire palette of petrochemical feedstock utilization from natural gas to heavy oil and all the way to coal for hydrogen production.
the entire capacity range of large-scale technological hydrogen production.
all services leading to the successful realization of hydrogen plants from project planning to financing all the way to completion and commissioning.
Beyond this, Linde as plant owner and operator is your partner for direct hydrogen supply.
One example of this is the hydrogen plant in Leuna, Germany, which is incorporated into one of the largest chemical complexes in the world.
Over the past years, the Linde Gas Division built its largest gas manufacturing complex Leuna, Germany, with an investment of over $250,000,000.00.
Linde is responsible for the supplying the entire chemical and refinery complex in Leuna with oxygen, nitrogen and hydrogen. Besides these main products, technical gases of all kinds are produced.
At this site, Linde also owns and operates a 50-mile pipeline network for gas transportation. The highest security for gas supply is indispensable for an industrial complex of this size and is also proven by the operational journals of the plants constructed and operated by Linde.
